We saw a sign to a shop and wanted to buy bread and cheese.
Three elderly locals were sitting outside and so we asked for shop.
Several minutes of no understanding finished when the man went off and returned with 3 loaves of bread. We indicated two and all was good.
He then went off again and returned with tomatoes , then another trip and onion and then lettuce and then peppers.
Meanwhile his wife had disappeared and she returned with olives and cheese.
They didn't want money but accepted 10 turkish lire ($5). On thevwalk back to our tents we decided that they were not a shop and had given us food from their house and garden
