Today we tried it all. Going from Gavuroglu to Patara we walked 6 kms (passing a Roman fort hidden in the scrub) then we caught a tractor, then we caught a local bus , then we walked to another Roman ruin, another bus, anotherbwak to a ruin and finally we were picked up by a pension owner who convinced us his was the best in Patara (our destination 12 kilometers away)
